How to Use Doubles

1Enable Doubles

Edit your league settings to enable doubles. Choose a partner mode:

  • Fixed — players are assigned permanent partners for the season
  • Rotating — players can partner with different people each match

2Manage Pairings

If using Fixed mode, go to your league's Doubles Pairings page to create and manage permanent pairings. You can:

  • Create new pairings from the available players
  • Give each pairing a name (e.g. "The Arrows")
  • Delete pairings that are no longer needed
  • See which players are still unpaired in the sidebar

3Create a Doubles Match

Go to Matches → Create Doubles Match. Select 4 players (2 per side) and set the match format (e.g. first to 4 legs).

If you have fixed pairings set up, the form will suggest them automatically.

4Record Scores

All 4 players can enter leg scores, just like singles matches. Select which side won each leg. The match completes when one side reaches the required number of legs.

5View Doubles Standings

Go to your league's Doubles Table to see pairing-based standings with points and leg difference. This is separate from the individual league table.

6Doubles in Team Fixtures

If enabled in your league settings, team fixtures automatically include a doubles match using the top 2 players (positions 1 & 2) from each team. The doubles match appears on the team fixture detail page alongside the individual matches.

Doubles matches are tracked separately and don't count towards individual league or career statistics.
