Getting Started
Need help? Check out our Help & Guides for step-by-step instructions on joining, recording matches, managing leagues, and more.
Click the Register button in the top right corner. Fill in your details including your name and email address. You'll receive a verification email - click the link to verify your account. Once verified, an administrator will approve your account.
There are two ways to join a league:
- Invite Link: If you have an invite link from the league manager, follow it to register and you'll be added automatically after verifying your email. See our full join guide for step-by-step instructions.
- Request to Join: Browse the leagues list, find the one you want to join, and click "Request to Join". The league manager will approve or reject your request.
Your user account is for logging in and managing your settings. Your player profile tracks your match statistics and league participation. An administrator can link your user account to a player profile, allowing you to see your personal statistics on the dashboard.
Leagues & Matches
Standings are calculated based on points:
- Win: 2 points
- Draw: 1 point
- Loss: 0 points
Oche Aye The Noo supports two match formats:
- Legs: First to X legs wins (e.g., first to 3 legs)
- Sets: First to X sets, where each set is first to Y legs (e.g., first to 3 sets, each set is first to 3 legs)
Navigate to the match page and record each leg as it's played. Select which player won the leg and optionally enter the checkout score. Once the required number of legs (or sets) have been won, the match can be marked as complete.
Account & Settings
Go to your Profile page. Under "Email Preferences", you can toggle which notifications you want to receive:
- Match reminders
- League updates
- Match result notifications
On the login page, click "Forgot Password?". Enter your email address and you'll receive a link to reset your password. The link expires after 1 hour.
By default, your email and phone number are only visible to league managers and administrators. You can adjust these privacy settings in your profile. Your name and match statistics are visible to all users.
Oche Aye The Noo is free for all players.
There are no fees to register, join leagues, or record matches. Some leagues may charge their own entry fees set by the league manager — these are separate arrangements between the manager and players, and have nothing to do with the platform itself.
In the future we may introduce optional premium features (such as enhanced statistics or extra storage for league organisers), but participation as a player will always remain free. Any changes will be announced in advance on this site.
For League Managers
You need to be a league manager or administrator. Go to Leagues and click Create League. Configure the league name, match format, and other settings. Once created, you can add players and generate the match schedule.
The schedule generator creates a round-robin schedule where every player plays every other player once. You specify the start date and matches per week. The system will automatically create and schedule all matches, and optionally notify players by email.
