How to Run a League
1Become a League Manager
From your Dashboard, click "Run a League?" to request the League Manager role. Fill in a short reason for why you'd like to run a league and submit your request.
An admin will review and approve your request. You'll receive a notification when it's been processed.
2Create Your League
Go to Leagues and click "Create League". Fill in the details:
- League Name — give your league a name
- Match Format — choose legs or sets format
- League Type — individual or team-based
- Settings — configure handicaps, doubles, and other options
3Invite Players
Share your league's invite link with players. When someone registers via the invite link, they'll be added to your league automatically after verifying their email — no manual approval needed.
Find the invite link on your league page under "Invite Players".
4Add Players Manually
Use the player search on the league page to find and add existing Oche Aye The Noo players. You can search by name and add multiple players at once using the batch add feature.
5Generate the Schedule
Click "Generate Schedule" and configure:
- Start Date — when the first round begins
- Match Frequency — weekly, fortnightly, etc.
The system creates a full round-robin schedule automatically, ensuring every player (or team) plays each other.
6Manage Your League
Use Manager Tools to handle day-to-day league management:
- Approve join requests — review and accept players who request to join
- Handle reschedule requests — approve or decline match rescheduling
- Review cheating reports — investigate and take action on reports
- Suspend players — issue a time-limited suspension to a player who has broken league rules; suspended players are automatically excluded from match creation and score entry for the duration. Suspensions can be lifted early from the player's league management page
- Assign match markers — on the match edit form, assign any registered site user as a neutral third-party Marker for a specific match. The marker has exclusive control of score entry; both players are locked out. Completed marked matches display an "Official Verified" badge
- Manage league settings — update configuration, sponsors, and prizes
7Add Other Managers
From the league page, you can add other users as league managers to help run the league. They'll be able to manage matches, approve requests, and handle reports alongside you.
