How to Use the Tournament System

1Create a Tournament

From your league page, go to Tournaments → Create Tournament. Give it a name and choose a format.

2Choose the Format

Three formats are available:

  • Knockout — single elimination. Lose once and you're out
  • Round Robin — everyone plays everyone. Most points wins
  • Groups + Knockout — group stage first, then the top players from each group advance to a knockout bracket

3Add Participants

Select which players from the league will participate in the tournament. Optionally set seeds for knockout tournaments — seeded players are placed on opposite sides of the bracket to avoid meeting early.

4Generate the Bracket

Click "Generate Bracket" to create the fixture structure:

  • Knockout — creates the full bracket with byes if needed
  • Round Robin — creates all matches (everyone vs everyone)
  • Groups + Knockout — creates group stage matches first

5Play Matches

Record results for each tournament match as they are played. The bracket updates automatically as matches complete — winners advance to the next round in knockout formats.

6Complete the Tournament

Once all matches are played, mark the tournament as complete to finalize the results and crown the winner.

Tip: Tournament matches are separate from league fixtures and have their own configurable match format (e.g., best of 5 legs).
